About the App

The CEJ App Version 2.0, is the first-ever mobile phone friendly web-based application in Zambia that incorporates and exemplifies Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) best practices by Mining companies, Large-scale Agriculture companies, Banks and other corporate entities, and captures Community CSER Needs in various mining areas in Zambia. The App is meant to document and showcase best practices of CSER and business investments by corporations that are into Mining and Large - scale Agriculture. The App further hosts Climate Action-based activities facilitated by CEJ.

Furthermore, the App works as a Monitoring and Accountability tool that provides real-time information as means for harnessing platforms for accessing quality and accurate information on CSER and Climate Action initiatives in Zambia. The App initiative is supported by the Bread for the World - Germany under the project "Mining Community Voices and Alternative Livelihoods" and the World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature - Zambia under the project Amplifying Just Climate Voice (VCA) project.
